Theme: Scrapbooking

why?

I've chosen this theme because I personally think it is great way of compacting memories altogether, which is very fitting for what my music video and song entails. To me, scrap booking can be a great way sum up the emotions felt by individuals through creative expression of the pictures and words, that they stack on top of a paper. It's a way to preserve moments in your life that you want to keep for a long time, or forever. Even though the song's title is: "Letter 2 him", it doesn't just have to be limited to words. The pictures can reflect the message that the letter reveals.

 I wanted to make a Digipack that offered a lot of nostalgia and memorabilia because I believe it will help sympathise with the audience that are also going through a breakup and is finding it difficult to move on. I want it to show that this situation is a journey of growth, which can be hard especially since there are all of these recollections that will serve as a reminder of the person's presence. 

Scrapbooking displays what's on someone's head, and sometimes you can't help but only think of that one person that's had a major impact on your life and therefore your growth. So in a way, putting it all on paper can help free up space, especially if you can't stop thinking about the situation 24/7.
