Post - Production ( Final Music Video)
FINAL MUSIC VIDEO:
UPLOADING PROCESS:
Again, I just added conventional details that I have seen artists use, so my music video can seem more authentic and professional.
FEEDBACK:
This is the only version I have of this music video because I didn't save the video from the editing app until I was happy with the outcome.
I got my teacher and my peer to give me feedback on the final music video:
HOW AM I REPRESENTING SOCIAL GROUPS OR ISSUES?
I tried to make the music video and the song message itself appeal to a lot of teenagers like me. The message is supposed to make it relatable to similar situations that they may also be going through. From the structure of the scenes to the simple transitions, I made sure they reflected the pain of a breakup and the consequence of remembering everything about a significant other when they are reminded by certain objects or locations.
HOW DOES THIS VIDEO ENGAGE WITH THE AUDIENCE?
I've incorporated elements of music videos from popular and up and coming artists like NIKI, Thuy etc. This might create a sense of familiarity within the audience, which could help them enjoy watching it or relating with it.
Final critics:
This is the final outcome. I enjoyed filming this because it was made with a song that I produced. I also made the decision to use different actors instead of having me act, because personally, I enjoyed directing and not so much acting. I think the actors did well, they've done exactly what I instructed them to do behind the camera, and I 'm grateful for that.
However, given that I was limited to the equipment I used, if I were to film this again, I would use a stabiliser stick to hold the camera in place so that any shaking is reduced. I would have also included more clips for the montage scene so that it's more diverse.
SPECIAL THANKS TO:
Marielle Marquez (main actress)
John Audi Libang (main actor)
